Moselle's majestic loop | kewl's gallery

Imagine standing amongst rows of grapevines. You can feel the imagined texture of the leaves and the supporting wires or posts. The ground beneath your feet is uneven, perhaps with small stones or earth. Looking out from the vineyard, you can sense a wide river, the Moselle, curving in a large meander through a valley. You can feel the imagined smooth flow of the water as it bends through the landscape. The valley slopes upwards on both sides, covered in more vineyards. You can imagine the rows of vines stretching across the slopes. A small village is nestled within the curve of the river. You might imagine the shapes and sizes of the buildings. The sky above is blue with fluffy white clouds. The scene evokes a sense of a vast, beautiful landscape within a famous wine region.
